Hans von der Hofen, founder and president of Abbatare Inc., has been a developer and involved in aviation for over 30 years. For the past 10 years Mr. von der Hofen has imported Czech Aero L-29 and L-39s into the United States, and in the last few years he has been successful in importing several German Dornier Alpha Jets - the first in U.S. history. Mr. von der Hofen has over 2650 Civilian Pilot in Command hours, a commercial ATP, and remains an avid pilot.
